Bendigo is set to catch roller derby fever this Saturday, when the Best Western Roller Derby Championship comes to the Bendigo Exhibition Centre.
The hometown Chiko Rollers will take on the Atom Bombs from Geelong, after narrowly going down to the Ballarat Rat Pack in round one of the series.
The Chikos’ matchup will be the first of a double header, with the Rat Pack taking on the Psychotics as the second match of the day.
Along with the fast-paced action on the track, there will also be plenty to do, with market stalls and the Colonel Vipers Whipstick Band playing at half time.
The doors open at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds at 1.30pm this Saturday, with the action on the track starting in the Exhibition Centre at 2pm.
