A 20 year old woman died overnight after a crash north of Bendigo yesterday.
Four others were taken to Bendigo hospital about 5pm yesterday after the head-on crash on the Elmore-Raywood Rd east of Raywood.
A police spokesperson said the collision happened when the west-bound car the woman was driving crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with an oncoming car at 3.50pm.
The 20-year-old Kamarooka woman was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital where she later died.
The woman suffered chest injuries.
An 11-year-old girl in the same car suffered lacerations and a wrist injury. An seven-month-old baby, the dead woman's daughter, was also taken to hospital for observation.
A couple, both 40, in the other car from Queensland had minor lacerations and were taken to hospital for observation.
