BENDIGO’S St John of God Hospital announced its new chief executive this week.

Darren Rogers was appointed to the job after a national search and advertising process that attracted a great deal of interest and a panel of strong candidates.

Mr Rogers comes to Bendigo after a stint as the chief executive officer of Ramsay Health Care’s Mitcham Private Hospital in Melbourne.

Before that he worked with Healthscope in

Darwin, Sydney and Melbourne in general manager and Clinical Services director roles.

Mr Rogers also has international health experience.
