How many coats do you have in the wardrobe that don’t fit, are last season or perhaps just not your style anymore?

And how many of them will stay in your wardrobe all winter?

Those extra coats, jackets and blankets that you have just lying around your home could be a big help to someone cold.

Bendigo Community Health Services is again running its Community Coat Drive, asking locals to donate their unwanted coats for those who are struggling to keep warm this winter.

Last year, about 250 coats were donated, a figure BCHS is hoping to better this year.

Pristine Drycleaners have come on board, offering to dry clean all donated coats free of charge.

Coats will be distributed via the Soup Kitchen and all Bendigo Community Health Services offices free of charge.

Coats can be donated at any BCHS office or at Pristine Dry Cleaners on High Street, near the Don Street corner.
