Bendigo’s Dragon City Derby Dolls gave the Byron Bay Rollers a derby lesson in destruction, easily winning their clash 122 to 77 at Puckhandler’s Stadium in Reservoir, Melbourne on Saturday.

Although a magnificent team effort, special mention goes to Invader Zoom in her debut bout, Summer Reign in a fast and agile performance and Radzilla, who returned from injury with a sheer bloody vengeance.

“It was a team effort and there wouldn’t be a team without our amazing couch HR Smash N’ Stuff and bench manager Vivian Vicious,” Derby Dolls spokesperson Emma McSparron said.

The Chiko Rollers also fielded some of their own referees in Barney Shebang, and Amelia Eatyaheart.

In the other match of the “Collide-A-Scope” double header, Latrobe City Mega Hertz won 172 to 96, against the Northside Rollers.
