Bendigo Braves have re-signed dominant big man Ivan McFarlin for the 2013 SEABL season.

The former East MVP player rejoins the Braves after a season with Tochigi Brex of the Japan Basketball League, in which he scored 15.6 points and pulled down 9.7 rebounds per game.

McFarlin played two seasons with the Braves in 2010 and 2011, being named in the East Conference All-Star Five in both seasons, as well as the Most Valuable Player in 2011.

Braves coach Ben Harvey said it was great to have the 203cm power forward on board.

"It's great to have Ivan back, but he's just one piece in the puzzle, we've still got 10 other players to worry about adding now."
